The Spartans meet almost every Saturday throughout the year, at 9:00am in the Marian Anderson Recreation Center located at 740-744 S 17th Street, Philadelphia, PA. When you enter the main entrance, walk up the first set of stairs on your right. On the second floor, make a right and our room is the first door on your right.

We require all wrestlers to be wearing gym-appropriate clothing, like shorts, t-shirts and sweatpants. You can also choose to wear a wrestling singlet, a rash guard, or other compression gear. We highly recommend you bring a pair of wrestling shoes as well. Outside footwear — even gym shoes or sneakers — are not permitted on our mats for hygienic and safety purposes. You should also bring a water bottle, as well as a change of clothes and/or a towel.

Yes! We are a beginner-friendly club. All skill levels are welcome, and we will work with new, first-time wrestlers to make sure everyone feels welcome and accommodated.
